Here’s how I have helped my family to save tax liability.

 

Dear Readers,
Sharing self-experience sometimes gives a great help to those people to whom we are unknown. Through this post, I am going to share my experience on how I have saved Tax Liability.
Recently I have purchased an under construction house which will get finished after 3-4 years. The payment criteria is in a manner that we have to pay after six months and for that, we took a home loan. Now we have some Funds that we need to manipulate in a smart way. We thought that we will pay some money in our loan payments and rest will invest for our child’s future. The home loan, which we took, will not give any tax relaxation because it is on under-construction money and the amount we invested in FDs are taxable.  Here my point of concern was how I would get that information which will save the Tax Liability of my family.
My family and friends suggested that I invest in Mutual Funds but I have no knowledge of Mutual Funds. And from here, my journey of getting financial knowledge moved on. Given below is the questionnaire, which I raised for myself to understand the concept of Mutual Funds and related terms, which helped in tax saving.

What is a Mutual Fund?
Ans: Mutual Fund means when a large number of investors invest for the common objective and then whatever income has generated from that investment, further distrusted proportionally amongst investors after deducting relevant expenses permitted by applicable laws. 
 
Which Mutual Fund will save tax?
Ans: ELSS means Equity linked saving scheme helps in saving tax as per current tax laws, but also has statutory lock-in period of 3 years .
 
How the ELSS Mutual Fund works?
Ans : If you have high income then you need to pay high taxes and vice versa. Then Indian Government introduced Section 80 C under Income Tax Act 1969. This section helps to reduce the tax liability on the total income if the people invest their money in permitted investment options. If we invest money in the ELSS Mutual Fund then we get relaxation in tax payment. ELSS Mutual Funds invest in Equity securities where we can invest in two ways that is Lump Sum or systematically i.e. through SIP.

What is the duration of ELSS Mutual Fund?
Ans: There is a minimum 3 years of mandatory investment period. That is termed as Lock-in Period. This amount can be invested in Lump Sum means you need to pay the amount in one go but SIP means you need to pay in regular pre-decided frequency. In both the cases, your investments will attract the Lock-in period of 3 years from the date of investment.

 
How can I save tax through ELSS Mutual Fund?
Ans: As per the Income Tax slab applicable to us, we need to pay tax on our yearly income. There is a provision of saving tax on investment of upto Rs.1,50,000  in permitted investment option as per section 80 C of Income Tax Act, 1969 and ELSS Mutual Fund is one of the permitted investment option under Section 80C.

Which ELSS Mutual Fund is good?
Ans: There are many options in the market but if you ask me, I would suggest my readers to check  ELSS page of L&T Mutual Fund .
 
Now you all are eager to know my decision.
Previously I have invested money in PPF and FDs and they both have a fixed amount of return. However, after investing in ELSS Mutual Fund I will get the return based on the market. When I decided to open an account in L&T Mutual Fund, I checked and studied all the details on the website, which cleared all my queries. I used its calculator to check how much tax I will save and through the SIP calculator, I get to know my monthly investment. I took a smart step to save tax, and invest to aim for good return.

It is a systematic Investment plan (SIP), which aims to give you higher return with little market risk. You can invest in small amounts and it will grow more than any RD or FD. SIP gives you flexibility in terms of deposit and withdrawal, subject to applicable exit load. As PPF will not allow you to withdraw at any time but SIP gives you this flexibility.
 
I decided to invest in the ELSS Mutual Fund through SIP. Now I have started my SIP with Rs.1000 per month but you can start with Rs. 500/- only. Through this small amount of monthly investment. I aim to fulfill my long-term goals.

How to reduce fat without any strict diet or exercise?

 

Demand of unhealthy food is increasing as compared to the healthy food. This intake of unhealthy food leads to saturated fat, which could be the reason of obesity and major diseases.

My Experience: 

First few things I observed that the plastic bottle is safe with the screw cap on it. I like its mild fragrance. I thought some people have sensitive nose who keep on sneezing when they smell high fragrance. This product is soothing and will not bring any point from sensitive nose people. The gel is little runny you have to take care of the bottle, I mean you have to check the cap whether it is tight or not. 

Second things:The gel is not at all irritating to the skin when you apply on your skin and there is no side effect of this product until unless you use it on injured area.  The rolling ball of the bottle gives an ease to spread the gel on the skin evenly. The fragrance part is totally depend on people whether they work indoor or outdoor. Indoor working people may feel the fragrance for longer hours than outdoor. It restrict sweating and controls the body odor too.

Nutshell: Sweatnil is a good anti perspirant with a mild fragrance. This product can be used by sensitive to normal skin. It controls the body order and sweating. Fragrance may not work for long but the gel works for long by restricting the over sweating. It will not irritate the skin after application. It is travel friendly but still before keeping it "Check its cap" because the gel is little runny. It is also affordable in term of its price. Plastic bottle is safe in comparison with glass bottle.

Direction: As per brand: Wet the body with water and apply epiplus cleansing lotion, Massage the body gently and then rinse with water. Wipe the body with a soft towel. Avoid scrubbing your skin. For best results use daily.

My Experience : The beautiful box contains the white tube with black flip cover. I find this tube travel friendly as the lid is pretty tight and will not allow the lotion leakage. The lotion is white in colour and there is no fragrance in it. The texture of the lotion is creamy and non sticky, it won't produce any foams or lather. Due to this quality, the moisture level maintains and you need not to use much water to rinse your face. This product is for sensitive skin but I took an advantage of its mildness. I wash my face with it multiple times in a day without loosing my skin moisture. It gently cleans my face and remove the dirt.

On the other hand, this product works wonderful for sensitive skin people because it doesn't have any soap properties or any hard ingredient which affect their skin. It also balanced pH level which means the same amount of acid and alkalis. This product is non- comedogenic which means it will not clog your pores to cause any blackheads or acne.

Nutshell: You can use it if you have sensitive skin as it has no soap ingredients no fragrance. It is mild in nature and removes the dirt gently.  I have little concern for Alcohol and Paraben present in this lotion.


 

Garnier PureActive Neem Purifying Face Wash and PureActive Apricot Exfoliating Face Scrub Review

#TwiceasNice seems to be the mantra not just adopted by Garnier but this is also the mantra for me and my friend Kokil owner of Indianbeautyreviewer who have decided to undertake this blogging activity in collaboration.

Kokil reviewed the products and keep on asking my reviews on the product , see what she has written on these wonderful products.
In this fast paced age where new innovations are being made every day and new discoveries are happening every month, one does need a hand at every step of their life to make it easier and more fulfilling. In this social media age where information is power, promotion is the key to that power. As a  beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogger I write about these topics and whatever information I can pen down about these things for my readers I do it after a lot of research and also based on my personal experiences. But unless the word about my posts is spread and unless more and more people are coming to know about my articles, its usually an effort going waste. Granier Pureactive graciously sent each one of us a combo pack of their PureActive Neem Purifying Face Wash and PureActive Apricot Exfoliating Face Scrub to try out as a combination skincare regime and see how both of them when working together are #TwiceAsNice ! It was no surprise that each product performed very well by its own but together they produced some fab results on the facial skin.

Kokil and me shared our experiences and viewpoints about both the products after using them for several days and this is our combined review about the products.

Granier PureActive Neem Purifying Face Wash and Granier PureActive Apricot Exfoliating Face Scrub come in a regular white colored tube packaging with a lid on one side to let out the product. The Neem face wash tube has a leaf green colored theme whereas the Apricot scrub has an orange colored theme on the tube which makes it really easy to demarcate both the products at one glance.
 

 

The lids on both the tubes close very securely but when opened they make the loudest weirdest plastic screeching kind of sound which is not only a bit annoying to the ears but its like the whole room now knows that I, me, myself aka IBR is going to wash n scrub her face …lol :P

After the lids are opened,  first its time to wash the face and later on we proceed with the scrubbing.

Granier PureActive Neem Purifying Face Wash is a beautiful leaf green colored face wash which smells very very foresty-gardeny  and refreshing. If you are having the dullest morning and you wash your face with this face wash I can almost guarantee that your spirits will be lifted for atleast an hour or till the time you can smell it on your skin and hands. This soap-free face wash has somewhat of a gel like consistency. The liquid is quite thick yet flowy but not runny. You have to first dampen the face with water and then apply the face wash as mentioned on the tube. The eye contour area has to be avoided.  It spread very easily on the palms and the face and cleans the facial skin very thoroughly. The face wash contains real Neem leaf extract and Tea-tree oil which help fight pimples and their marks by cleansing away the problem causing germs. It also helps to fight pollution by removing impurities caused by pollution and it removes the excess oil which basically attracts the germs and the grime. It can remove light makeup but you cannot rely on it to remove a full face of full coverage makeup, you will need to use a makeup remover before. Once I patted my face dry I felt extremely clean and felt my pores breathing, yes I can feel it! Facial skin was super clean and very smooth and looked oil-free and bright. I let it that way without moisturizing my face within the recommended 3 minute timeframe after face washing just to see how it feels. My skin felt stretchy and I realized moisturizing my face was a must to feel OK after washing my face with this face wash. I had a similar opinion as Kokil said. Even though the face wash cleaned the face extremely well, she too felt that it dried out the skin slightly.  However, I had one more step to do which was scrubbing and so I proceeded with it.

I pulled out the Granier PureActive Apricot Exfoliating Face Scrub and out came an off-white colored cream and beautifully contrasting with it the reddish-brown colored apricot seed granules which are meant to provide the scrubbing action on your skin.

The smell of this product is absolutely amazing! It smells like melted apricot icecream or  a thick apricot shake . I almost felt like I was in a bakery or eatery where I was getting whiffs or this warm apricot smell. But I wasn’t really going to take a big gulp of that heavenly shake, I was in my bathroom waiting to scrub my face! Oh Reality!!!  As soon I applied the scrub on my freshly cleansed face my skin felt damp, slightly warm and very soothed. Then I started the scrubbing in circular motions and it wasn’t the most soothing feeling …ha ha ha! The exfoliating powder in the scrub was working its magic, removing away the dead skin cells while the creamy formula ensured that my skin was lightly hydrated during the procedure. I scrubbed my face for 3 to 4 minutes carefully avoiding the delicate eye area and then rinsed my face with water, Soft, glowy and radiant skin emerged. The stretchy feeling had gone and my skin felt even more cleaner and smoother. It was a little bit moisturised too but that doesn’t give you the excuse to not to tone and moisturize your face afterwards. Those are compulsory my friend, whatever skin type you may be. I am also having a similar opinion.  I said that she hadn’t used a milder yet such an effective scrub before. What I liked most about it was its creamy consistency and the scrub`s moisturizing ability.  A thing to be noted here is that this face scrub can be used daily in fact daily usage is recommended after washing the face. This means that this is quite a mild scrub which won't damage your delicate facial skin with daily use.  

So, both these products in our opinion are winners and together they are  #TwiceAsNice. If one of them alone can make you look and feel good then the other one can make you look and feel great! We highly recommend using them together and including them in your daily face care regime. We assure you all will see a big difference in the way your skin looks very soon as this is the perfect summer treat for your face this season.
